Dark-Spotted Palthis (Palthis angulalis)

Tan FW has oblique brown median band that stops short of costa. Reniform spot is a slanting brown crescent. Apical patch is rusty brown. Outer third of FW is tightly creased. Male has long upturned labial palps.

Hosts: Coniferous and deciduous trees, including ash, alder, maple, spruce, and willow.
